ORIGIN
Vino de la Tierra de Castilla is a wide expanse of fairly flat terrain, with beautiful reddish soils rich in limestone. Continental climate with extreme temperatures (-15ºC in winter and 45ºC in summer) and very low rainfall. The land enjoys more than 3000 hours of sunlight a year that ripen the grapes to give us excellent quality fruit.
GRAPE VARIETY
WINEMAKING
The best grapes of Verdejo variety are carefully picked then vinified. Cold pellicular maceration in a pneumatic press for 6 – 8 hours followed by fermentation with selected yeasts at 14ºC.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Murviedro Colección Verdejo is ideal as an aperitif or to accompany tapas, fish, seafood and rice dishes. Served chilled at between 6º to 8ºC.
