ORIGIN
The Denominación de Origen Protegida Alicante is on the Eastern coast of Spain enjoying a warm climate throughout the year and the beneficial influences of the Mediterranean. The mountainous interior has a climate that is continental in character.

Winemaking
The grapes are picked from old, low yielding vines grown according to the rules of organic culture in an area south of Alicante. Destemmed and gently pressed. The grapes go through a cold pre-fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Maximum fermentation temperature, 26ºC. Malolactic fermentation in tank. Finally, the wines are given a light touch of medium toast American oak, prior to being bottled.
Wine suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Serving Suggestions
Murviedro Colección EKO is ideal to accompany cured meat, roasted meat and game. Serving temperature 16º-18ºC.
