ORIGIN
Cueva del Pecado Crianza represents the precise point where character meets seduction. A wine that captures the soul of the Ribera del Duero and transforms it into an intimate experience, full of nuances and balance. A modern interpretation of pleasure, created for those who know how to appreciate the beauty of what evolves slowly.
Grape Variety
Winemaking
Crianza is made from Tempranillo (Tinta Fina) grapes grown in limestone soils and hand-harvested in 15 kg crates. At the winery, the bunches are sorted on a selection table and gently destemmed without crushing the grapes. A pre-fermentation cold maceration is performed to enhance the aromatic compounds, followed by fermentation for 15 to 25 days at 29 ºC in 17,000 L truncated conical tanks, with two daily pump-overs to achieve a balance between elegance and power.
Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel alongside its fine lees, using a delicate batonnage that adds volume and creaminess. Finally, the wine matures for 20 months in new French oak barrels, acquiring its deep and velvety expression.
Serving Suggestions
Ideal with white and red meats, traditional roasts, game birds, cured meats, and aged cheeses. Its balance between power and finesse makes it a versatile partner for tables where conversation and pleasure go hand in hand.
