Bodegas Murviedro Revamps the Image of Its Sericis Range and presents its new Brand Concept at ProWein 2025

Bodegas Murviedro Revamps the Image of Its Sericis Range

Bodegas Murviedro takes a new step in the evolution of its iconic Sericis range with a refreshed image that preserves its essence while reinforcing its visual identity with a clearer and more elegant design. Additionally, the winery introduces a new brand concept that emphasizes the emotional connection between wine and its story, consolidating “Los Vinos de la Seda” (The Wines of Silk) as the umbrella brand that embodies the soul of Sericis. The official presentation of this evolution will take place at ProWein Düsseldorf 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for wines and spirits, from March 15 to 17.

Sericis: Where Wine and Silk Weave Stories

At Los Vinos de la Seda, we believe that every bottle tells a story—a tale woven with the soul of the land, a passion for tradition, and the drive for innovation. Our inspiration comes from the Silk Road, that historic route that connected cultures, shared secrets, and intertwined traditions. With Sericis, we weave that spirit into every bottle, combining the smoothness of silk with the authenticity and unique character of our land.

Sericis is born from old vines that have withstood the test of time. These deeply rooted vineyards are a testament to the strength of our land and the dedication of those who cultivate it. Their fruit, concentrated and full of character, gives rise to complex and elegant wines. Each wine is a masterpiece born from the Valencian terroir, where altitude, climate, and soil combine to produce exceptional grapes. We blend ancestral techniques with a contemporary design and a bold spirit, creating wines that pay tribute to the past while embracing the future.

A Design That Strengthens Its Identity

Inspired by the textile richness of silk, the Sericis design evolves to offer a more harmonious and refined presentation. The update retains the distinctive elements that have defined the brand so far while introducing subtle improvements to enhance readability and differentiation:

Greater brand visibility on the label, with a clearer and more balanced focus.
Improved varietal differentiation, featuring a more consistent and intuitive color scheme.
A more refined aesthetic, preserving the silk-inspired texture but with a more sophisticated presentation.
More accessible information, making it easier to understand the wine and its origin.

The result is an image that respects the DNA of Sericis but projects it with greater strength in the market, ensuring that each bottle reflects the exclusivity and authenticity that define the range.

A Step Forward in Murviedro’s Global Strategy

The Sericis revamp is part of a broader brand repositioning strategy, focused on strengthening its presence in international markets and reinforcing its identity as a premium brand. With this evolution, Bodegas Murviedro enhances the essence of Sericis, one of its most iconic brands, by offering a more contemporary and appealing image while preserving the sophistication and identity that have made this range a benchmark in Requena wines.

Marc Grin, CEO of Bodegas Murviedro, states:

With the new Sericis image and our renewed brand narrative, we seek a balance between tradition and modernity. We want every glass to invite discovery of the history and passion behind our wines, maintaining their authenticity while making them even more accessible and recognizable worldwide.
