The subsidiary of the Schenk Group has known how change with the times and this year will celebrate their 90th Anniversary, always maintaining a balance between using the latest technology while supporting local grape varieties.
Tomorrow, Friday 3 February, it will be 20 years since the winery moved to their installations in Requena.
Valencia 2 February 2017 – Bodegas Murviedro, Spanish subsidiary of the Schenk Group, whose company deeds date back to 27 August 1927, this year will celebrate its 90th Anniversary in the hands of the same family who started the business and have maintained the values of a family business that has known how to become more professional and adapt to the times. This is why this year the winery’s main brands will carry the 90th Anniversary logo.
Throughout these 90 years, Bodegas Murviedro has built a successful business to an extent that is it recognised as a supplier of quality Spanish wine in all international markets. Part of this success has been the close relationships maintained between customers and suppliers, with whom over time in depth collaborations have resulted in adding value throughout the chain of distribution.
At the same time the team of professionals at Bodegas Murviedro have been able to maximise both technical and human resources to produce attractive wines of quality, attributes that are well deserved given the numerous international awards won, which have placed the winery in the top 12 wineries in Spain (11th position) and in the top 100 wineries in the world, according the to the world ranking of the World Association, Wines & Spirits, Writers and Journalists (WAWWJ).
